Holiday Happenings

Wow, have we had a busy start to the holiday season! (As you may have guessed by how great we are at blogging lately ;) haha) Many happy families and smiley kids have been bustling in and out of the studio for holiday pictures, and we have had a blast capturing them all!

Now that December is here and the snow is beginning to fall, I'm sure time will continue to fly by, but check back soon for more festive photos! Here are a few - Lauren and Melanie are two sisters who are absolute dolls! Enjoy and stay warm!

Hi! This is Megan - and now it is my turn to say I am so lucky to
have found Abby and Classic Photography! Every day I am in the studio I have the opportunity to express my creativity, and I am so fortunate to be able to continue working with Abby while finishing my education.

I had SO much fun designing the new holiday cards that I could design 50 more! Whether you already had photos taken at Classic Photography or are looking to book a sitting in the future, what a better way to easily turn your photos into unique holiday cards! The first ten in the gallery are Classic Photography originals and the last four are past favorites that have been brought back exclusively for this collection. Cards will be sold at only $1.04 each, with a minimum order of 25. (Increase in increments of five.) And, if you would like to have a custom card designed specifically for you, I would love to create it! Contact the studio for more details and ordering information, and let Classic Photography help you get a head-start on the holidays!

Autumn is Here!

And there are fantastic spots all over the F-M area to capture the turning leaves!
Alex, his parents and I visited Lindenwood park -we had a Fantastic time! I think this is the 3rd or 4th time I've worked with this family and it was so cool to see how much Alex has "grown up" since last time I saw them! Documenting kids and families growing up is a honor.

When Irish Eyes Are Smiling

When Irish eyes are smiling, Sure, 'tis like the morn in Spring. In the lilt of Irish laughterYou can hear the angels sing. When Irish hearts are happy,All the world seems bright and gay.And when Irish eyes are smiling,Sure, they steal your heart away. For your smile is a part Of the love in your heart,And it makes even sunshine more bright. ~words and music Chauncey Olcott & George Graff, Jr.

Back to Work and Back to School!

Thanks so much to Megan for taking care of everything while I was gone. She really did a great job -- I'm very lucky to have found her! And now I'm back to work and Megan is back to school- her last year! (I'm very happy to report that she'll still be around the studio . ) For a little while yet I'll still have reduced hours at the studio (by appointment only) and there maybe a slight delay in turnaround times from what my "regulars" are used to- a couple extra days - Thanks for your patience!
STAY TUNED- Coming soon there will be announcements about new products, Limited Edition sessions, and new ways to share your images with friends and relatives!

Eddie and Barkus

Havanese, Danes and Spaniels-- OH MY!
Super Graphic Designer-Assistant-Baby Whisperer-Organizer- Megan- demonstrating all of the above talents at one time! At Fargo's Finest Canine Daycare-Hotel and Grooming -
EDDIE & BARKUS

I'd have to say that these were probably the most opinionated models I've worked with. They seemed to have a vision for themselves as to positioning, posing etc.

And we let them! What a FUN Job! Marcia and her staff are great-- They LOVE & KNOW each of these dogs!

Serendipity

I was daydreaming of my little-man-on-the-way, specifically his feet and all the pictures to be taken and then realized how great it would be to have Ava's almost 9 year old feet next to the little mans.
When I told her what I wanted to do she started laughing hysterically and flung herself onto the bed and then shoved her stinky feet :) into the camera lens to show off the little village of people she had created- What Serendipity!
I love everything about this image and this moment and- the surprise of all these silly little toes- the motion- Ava's creativity--everything! It's without a doubt my favorite "baby feet" picture I've ever shot or seen for that matter.
